Gotta be Myle's. It's the one place I point everyone to when they come to BG. As Transfer said the Mexico Lovers is a solid choice, but with the lettuce, tomatoes, etc, it's not real good leftover, so get a small one that you can finish. Also, make sure to get garlic bread with cheese...might be better than their pizza. Either way it's the best food in BG, as far as I'm concerned.

Jed's food is fine, don't like it as a sports bar, transfer. I don't really care for any of their wing sauces, either, but most of their food is solid. They have tater tots which is a major plus for any place in my book :)

IMO, Corner Grill > Kermits, but I know both places have their fans.

As Ziggy suggested, please feel free to stop by our tailgate as well. We've always got tons of food and are more than willing to share.

Please feel free to stop by our tailgate also. We are located in Lot L at the north end of the stadium. Just look for the American and Falcon flag flying, and introduce yourself. We'll have a game on TV, plenty of food and of course, adult beverages!! Anytimne after noon!!! :-D

Being a "newbie" to BG...please explain. I think I may be up for this challenge. Foam is my middle name!

The Hall of Foam involves drinking 1 of every single beer that Easy Street offers...Drafts, bottles, all of it...I think it comes out to about 88 beers or so...if you can (afford to) do it in one weekend, you'll be a legend.

I can't wait to get into town this weekend. It'll be my first taste of BG cuisine in over a year!

Took me about 3 months of drinking every Monday night for euchre night. Probably the biggest accomplishment I made at BG, just ahead of graduating.

But yea, Myles is a can't miss if you're in BG. I live in SC now, and when some of my friends went back for graduation, I had them bring me a large pepperoni from Myles. Ate on that for like 3 days every meal, even a thousand mile car ride doesn't take away its flavor.

Easy Street has amazing Buffalo Burgers...and the alcohol is a plus too :D Pollyeyes should definitely be tried as well (the stuffed chicken breadsticks are amazing!) If you are in the mood for Gyros, South Side Six is a pretty good find as well. (South of town on Main St.)

Go Strouse go! I never had the Buffalo Burgers there, but they make some DARN good French Onion soup. The stuffed breadsticks can't be missed, and those gyros are pretty awesome too. Not the best gyros I've had, but for BG, they hit the spot... especially when I needed to buy a bottle of Mad Dog 20/20 as well.

104 to be exact. Lived there 10 years, started a new card 3-4 times, but never made it.

Holy crap!!! I still have my hall of foam card dated from April 11, 1997. I still have only completed 25 of the 70+ varieties of beer that Easy Street carries. I need to work on that this weekend. I carry my "foam" card in my wallet for sentimental purposes.
Do you actually think it's possible to achieve the hall of foam in one weekend? Hypothetically speaking, of course. That's a tall order. I think it could be done (for a very few) if you include Friday as part of the weekend.

Best thing to do is get to BG on Thursday and get the 3 Gyros for 3.99 (If they still do it!) You'll have breakfast, lunch and dinner for three days...those things are HUGE and the most delicious gyros I've ever had...even if SS6 does have the worst commercial known to man!

That changed to $2 gyros, which has now changed again to 2 for $5. Still a great deal, just not quite as great. It's still my standard dinner nearly every Thursday.
