Can you provide a link? I didn't find anyone saying anything about the win being a fluke. I did find people that thought it was funny that BGSU is talking about going undefeated allready, and the only discussion is whether BGSU will win by a little or a lot.

Here is my favorite entry:

"Bowling Green *ONLY* had 254 yards of total offense. No way in hell they'll beat us playing like they did against Pitt. I was able to watch the game and the ending score doesn't tell the whole story. We keep the turnovers under 2 and we'll pull this one off no problem........"

"No way in hell?" LMAO!!!!!

If bgsu does only manage 254 yrds and force less then 2 turnovers it would be pretty unlikely that they will win, I think most people would agree even bgsu fans.

Maybe people don't realize it, but it's hard to rack up more than 254 yards when you're given the short field 4 different times. Both teams had really good defenses, but when you have the short field, you can't get 70 yards out of a possible 30 or less. If MN turns the ball over, I'm sure the stats will point out that our offense didn't put up staggering numbers again. And, if MN turns the ball over several times and we have really good stats, then the game won't be close at all by the score.

Last week was a case where the defense won. This week, if the defense wins it for us again...I could care less. As long as we win, I wouldn't care if the special teams won it.

especially after only getting 6 yards in the first quarter.

Like I said, both teams had good defenses, and BG didn't show up to play offense until much later in the game. Either that, or Pitt's defense started to have some holes.
