BG finishes 2nd in Pontiac Game Changing Performance

Post by BGSUFootballFan »

Didn't see it posted elsewhere, but at halftime of the South Carolina game, they showed that "BG's TD run to seal upset of #25 Pitt" finished 2nd votes in the Pontiac Game Changing Performance of the week. ECU's blocked punt return for a TD on VT was #1.
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

Can't argue with that. By definition, there were several smaller game-changing plays in our game, that play was a huge play.

I have a feeling that if not for the inadvertent whistle on the fumble/TD, that play would have stood a bit better chance. But the play that should have won did.

Agreed. Although, even with the whistle, that play was still huge for BG and the shift of momentum in that game.
