Vandy beats South Carolina (24). I can bet that Vandy will get in the top 25 after that defeat of a 24th ranked team. Hmmmm, could it be that Vandy is in the SEC?

No, it couldn't be that. It must be because SC was #24, therefore better than (then) #25 Pitt.

Good for Vandy. I caught a good portion of the last quarter or so and ESPN was really playing up the underdog thing - Vandy has the longest streak of losing seasons, hasn't been to a bowl game since Jesse Palmer was 4 years old, etc.

The crew also kept saying it had been a long time since Vandy beat a ranked team at home and how much they needed a "big" win at home. Well, they got it.

I doubt Vandy will be ranked unless they all the other teams 20-25 lose.
I'm happy they won just so tickets should be cheaper next week when I go down to columbia to see them play UGA
