I believe our attendance for the Wisconsin game in Cleveland was 30,307. And that was on a wild and stormy night, compared to this past week where it was perfect weather. Granted, Wisconsin fans accounted for some of that crowd, but we still had at least 22-23K of Falcon faithful on hand, for I saw it myself.

I think they counted attendance for that game by the amount of tickets sold, which was bloated thanks to some alums. I don't think there were actually 30,000 people there. Either way, unless OSU or Michigan is playing in that game, it won't be half full. Does Ford Field even fill up completely for the MACC? I think it's pointless to have games in NFL stadiums unless you'll fill them up.

BC is not even a big draw in Boston, who thought they would be in Cleveland against Kent State?

I'll put down a shiny nickel that says OU does score against tOSU. Just a hunch.

For the record, last week was the first time (by my research) that the Buckeyes posted a shutout since 2003.

8-)

How many actual tickets do they sell? With students getting in by just swiping their ID do they just not sell tickets to the student sections?

So true. I was underwhelmed by the crowd in Boston last year. They had the #7 ranked team in the country and there were still a few sections of their stadium almost empty. I understand we aren't exactly the biggest draw, but still, they were a top 10 team. You'd think that'd be some butts in the seats.

Let us not forget, that was during the baseball playoffs, the beginning of an 18-1* NFL season, and the eve of a championship NBA season. Why would anyone give a damn about a team that hadn't been relevant since they broke Bernie Kosar's heart? They rarely made the sports front of the Globe.
