Why isn't this game sold out?
Why isn't this game sold out?
Why isn't this game sold out already? I can't believe it. National TV, against a Big 10 opponent after a great win on the road against a Big East team. Brandon was right. If we don't sell this out, we'll never sell any game out.

I wish I had an answer.
Since my procrastinating AZZ still has to buy a ticket, I'm glad it hasn't sold out. But as a BG fan in general, I'm frustrated, too.

Well TG, if you wish to go, you may want to act fast. From the website:
"BGSU Athletics is encouraging all fans to arrive early to allow plenty of time for parking and entry into Doyt Perry Stadium for this Saturday's BGSU Football Home Opener. The Falcons host the Minnesota Golden Gophers with the ESPNU national television broadcast scheduled for a 7:34pm kickoff. Gates will open at 6:00pm, and the game marks the first time ever that BGSU has hosted a Big Ten Opponent on-campus at The Doyt.
A limited number of tickets for the game are still available through the BGSU Athletic Ticket Office (M-F 9a-5p), but are going fast. The easiest and quickest way to secure tickets is by purchasing them online at BGSUFALCONS.COM through Noon ET on Saturday. Will Call will open at the South ticket booth on the East side of Doyt Perry Stadium at 4:30pm ET on game day, with all remaining tickets available for purchase beginning at 5:30pm ET at all stadium ticket booths."

Hey, we're not stupid when it comes to scheduling game times. We've managed to pretty much avoid the Buckeyes same time slot for most games lately, save for those two afternoons in 2003 and 2006 of course. Michigan's irrelevant at this point, I haven't seen any Michigan gear on campus all week.daspollak wrote:I think this game will sell out. Especially since OSU and Mich. play way earlier in the day.
24. Quality provider of the truth, for better or for worse.
I got mine around 2 pm today, and actually had to wait in a line about 20 deep at the ticket window. That's one wait I didn't mind making!
(And even if I did mind, the sound of basketballs and squeaking sneakers from inside AA was enough to soothe the nerves...)

It will be sold out. It will be sold out. It will be sold out.
But if it isn't, I think the start is a little late for travelers who might not want to do an overnight. On the other hand, most out side the region probably don't know there's a game anyway.
No, I have no point. I'm just counting the minutes to kick-off.
