Spoken like the true pro you are, hammb. This should be one of the best game day experiences in a while.

I've never tailgated before, but will be in BG a few hours before the game. I know you guys have a welcome all philosophy about tailgaiting, so If I can make it there, what would you like me to bring?

Best way to do it is just bring anything that can be thrown on a grill, and whatever you want to drink. Freak will have his grill, I'm bringing out the charcoal grill, and I'm sure there will be others with grill space available as well. Throw some beverages in a cooler and introduce yourself. I assure you that you'll be welcomed with open arms.

Thanks, hammb, but I really don't need a hug from the likes of you.

Everyone drink a beer for me. Unfortunately I'm stuck working today and tomorrow so I won't be able to make the game, but I will be watching on TV.

Oh, and someone give BGFan a good whack for me.

What the hell man? Just quit your job and get your azz here to BG...seems pretty simple to me! Or call in sick today, and still make it in hungover tomorrow, they'll buy the sick thing that much more!

I'm actually working on a Congressional campaign right now, and it is just a busy weekend for us. I was planning on going, but a whole bunch of stuff came up. I'm hoping to make it to at least a couple of games this year, though.

You'll just have to drink and cheer louder for me. :-D

Stuck on-call this weekend, so I'm enjoying the MAC's solid showing so far today from home. Everybody tie a few on for me.

GO BG!

Just waiting for my brother and his clan to arrive so we can head over. Better get here soon or I'm leaving them behind.

Just wanted to say thanks to FF and BGFan for securing the prime tailgate spot.

Nicholas and I stopped by briefly and visited. Got to talk to Flipper and Family, the Ziggys, FF, and Hammb....... but Hammb probably does not remember

We did play the front 9 at Forrest Creason and I bought an Ashworth golf shirt with the Space Ghost logo at the pro shop..... for 30% off. Finally a quality BGSU golf shirt..... Unfortunately, the lady at the pro shop said the Bookstore was going to start providing them stock..... that means lower quality  (I have two other BG golf shirts and they are crap. I still wear them - such as on Sat. but they aren't Ashworth.) Wearing the new one today. (I shot a 47 - my best round this year season). I wonder what this course could be if we hired someone like Arthur Hill to design a course renovation. It's tight, but with the right landscaping and changes in topography and water, it could be fairly dynamic.

It was great to see 23,000 plus in the stadium.

We enjoyed the game, even with the disappointing outcome. We are talking about coming up for the BG- Miami game.

Thanks again to FF and BGFan.

Yeah, Tech, I don't remember seeing you at all...things got a little out of hand rather quickly Saturday. I was pretty upset because the only part of the game that I was really coherent for was the 4th quarter, and it sucked pretty bad.

Next time I'll be leaving the rum (and all fruits living in said rum) at home. Beer = good, liquor = bad. I may have been in slightly better shape than Metz, but that's debatable and not saying much.

What I remember was fun, though!

It was great seeing you and Nicholas again too! I was pretty pleased that we were able to park where we did. Sometimes it doesn't work out that way. Saturday was such a blast...though, the clean up late that night was a B!G pain!! Looking forward to doing it all over again when we play Eastern.
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
