Steve Sanders to Play Tomorrow for Browns!

Post by Rollo83 »

Browns waive wr Paul Hubbard today and sign Steve Sanders to the active roster. Steve will suit up tomorrow against Dallas.

I think this was all related to the Browns trying to sneak Hubbard through waivers. Now with most NFL rosters set, teams won't be as likely to take a flyer on Hubbard. Browns knew all along Steve was the better player at this time.

Here is the story on the Browns' web site.

Awesome news! I was totally dumbfounded by the decision to keep Hubbard over Steve, but now we know why, I suppose.

GO STEVE GO! I am a bigger Browns fan now more than ever. Steve has a big heart with a lot of pride, and he deserves this!

If he keeps working hard I'm sure we'll see him on the field.

Hopefully he'll be one of the many receivers to show how overrated Pacman Jones is.

Steve got in on the 2nd or 3rd play on a running play. Alas the Browns fumbled the next snap.

Would that be the first catch for a Falcon receiver in an NFL season game?

Ever? No.

Not sure who all may be on that list, but Bernie Casey is there for sure.

Way to go SANDMAN.

I didn't know what was going on until I actually tuned in yesterday!

Looking forward to seeing more of #83 each week!
