My interpretation is a live stream via Windows Media Player. I'm holding off from purchasing until someone backs me up on that.always a falcon wrote:I'm stupid. I had a few questions before the game Saturday...
Which website has the best "gamecast" (up-to-date stats, score)? ESPN?
Where's the best place to listen to the game online? Which BGSU Network stations have live feeds? http://www.wcwa.com seems to work alright.

Last year the Athletic Department had links to the games on bgsufalcons.com. I haven't looked for it yet this year, but you might want to give that a shot...most radio stations will not stream games online.thewebboy wrote:I had a few questions before the game Saturday...

You could also try yahoo sports radio ill look for the radio streaming list from there and try to get the link. I'm gonna guess that http://www.channelsurfing.net will have the game streaming on there for free.

Has anyone talked to any of the bars in/around BG? I'd really much rather have the game on TV somewhere than watching on my computer monitor. I know the USC/OSU game is the most important thing to ever happen to college football, but I find it hard to believe that nobody will put the game on at least one television.
Do we know for a fact that the game is available to any bars that subscribe to the ESPN GamePlan package?

I am 99% sure if any bar had the GamePlan, they should be able to get the BG/Boise State game. It's part of the package. Whether any bar will put it on at least one tv while the all important OSU/USC game is going on depends on the bar owner...seeing as no other game this weekend matters except the one in LA.
This is why I love Dish Network. All I have to do is wait until 24 hours or less til kickoff and call and order the game. $22 isn't bad, IMO.

You know what you do? You get EVERYONE you know to get in your brown and orange gear and head to a bar together and DEMAND the Bowling Green game be viewable! There is no way they will turn down a crowd of 50 or more people. Eff the OSU/U$C game! We gotta get the BG game on!!!

The problem will be finding which bars have the College GamePlan package...many around here don't because so many people are only interested in the Big 10 and other national televised games. I think BW3 in P'burgh might, and they've been pretty accomodating in the past. They have so many big screens that they can put the BG game on one and still have a ton of them with OSU showing. I'll try to talk to somebody there sometime and I'll post a report back.
I'm pretty sure that on TW digital I could order the game as well, but I don't want to sit at home. I kinda want to go to a bar so I can revel in the OSU fans' remorse if they lose. If they win, I don't really care, but I love to watch their fans when they're losing...it's fun.

You should see the office this week. There must be at least 50 OSU fans here and they are giving away all this OSU crap for certain sales amounts. If I win anything, I'm tossing it in the trash. They're all talking like OSU is gonna win BiG and the Ohio game was a wake up call and looking ahead. You better be right cuz USC is on a mission this year.
I remember saying a few months ago USC will be in the national title hunt on the Other Schools forum and somebody laughed at that....until USC started the year at #4.
Hope you find a place to watch the game. If you don't, make the 2 hour drive to the Freak Nest.

B-dubs told me they will be showing it for sure...Jeds said if it's not blacked out, they will be, too. I would love to get a mass crowd at B-dubs or Jeds!
...Frickers I obviously didn't bother calling.

I know last year for the Minny game a lot of the non traveling players, girlfriends, and such watched the game at B-dubs in BG.Metz wrote:B-dubs told me they will be showing it for sure...Jeds said if it's not blacked out, they will be, too. I would love to get a mass crowd at B-dubs or Jeds!

If you find out for sure where we can watch the game I'll come by. B-dubs or Jeds doesn't matter to me, either way I'm sure it won't be on a big screen with the OSU game going on, but if they at least have the game, I'll be happy.
Probably going to want to get where ever we go early to stake out a spot and a TV and tell the OSU people to get bent so we can save our own TV.
I'm sure the game won't be on a big screen in BG. There just aren't any decent sports bars that have a bunch of them to offer, really. The big screens will all be tied up with OSU.daspollak wrote:Rule of thumb is if they have the Sunday Ticket they will have Gameplan. The other thing will be what TV they will put the game on. Don't hold your breath for a big screen.
That's why I thought about calling Bdubs in P'burg. They've got a ton of big screens with many of them right next to one another, they could easily afford to give the BG game a big screen and everyone could still see their precious OSU. Not sure that they WILL, but they COULD.
