Miami in the Independence? All depends which team shows up!

God I hope somehow it's NIU there instead of Miami. The MAC really needs to win that game since it's against the Big XII. I just don't think Betts is composed enough to pull off a big bowl win.

I agree. I sure hope NIU is in the Independence Bowl. Miami or NIU would beat Troy. I think NIU matches up better with OK State, if that's who is in the I-Bowl.

I'm sorry guys but i don't think it matters that much. I don't think miami or NIU are very good away from home. I know NIU beat us but i think they caught us in the right situation. Toledo should cream Uconn, and I think we will edge the tigers. Marshall has a decent shot to give us three wins but past that, it looks pretty bleak to me. I hope I'm wrong and the MAC takes a giant leap forward this bowl season. But my gut tells me otherwise.

Are you really that negative all the time? I have been following you on the women's sports and men's basketball sites. And you have not had much positive to say. U almost expect to see your name change to Jacobs4HeismanRunnerUp! I personally like all of our chances this bowl season for one reason. What do any of us have to loose? If we defeat our opponents the lime light will be short lived because of the BSC (you figure it out ) and If we are defeated then the media will use that as proof of our "minor conference" status which they will do anyway at the start of next season. All we can do is go out there, give them hell, and play for ourselves and our conference.

I think 3 bowl wins for the MAC would be a great showing no matter who plays where.
