AT update
Re: AT update
I was afraid to hear something like this. My thoughts are with him and I hope it doesn't come to that.zeket10 wrote:AT dislocated his shoulder and has a possible torn ligament in his shoulder.
This comes from a reliable source.

That sounds about right. If it's something along those lines here, for comparision, Jacobs was injured in the WMU game and was out for the Akron and Kent State games but came back and played at Miami.Jacobs4Heisman wrote:Didn't Omar have something like an AC joint strain? or something? I remember it being all technical like it was a grade 3.5 strain which wasn't as bad as grade 3 squared strain.
Hopefully AT can come back for the bulk of the MAC schedule.

Maybe I was drunk...well, okay I was and am...but didn't AT come back and play later in the game? I realize that the guys doing to the commentary for Boise were, well...special, but they did mention him being in a couple of plays in the fourth quarter.
Either way, I hope that he is alright. We are definitely a different team with him on the field, and he has been a model of "team first" ever since his troubles a couple of years ago. Quite frankly, he's made MACMAN look like more of an ass than usual (yeah, I haven't forgotten all of that).

AT didn't come back, but Barnes did. They both took shots on the shoulder/arms. AT was out of uniform in a warm-up and it looked like his arm was in a sling. Barnes came back in but then took another shot on the same shoulder and left the game. I'm not sure if he came back after that or not? Dozier looked in some pain and did not come back, I believe he got hurt on Boise's last punt and it looked like his left foot/ankle.Bleeding Orange wrote:Maybe I was drunk...well, okay I was and am...but didn't AT come back and play later in the game? Jeez. If someone were to ask me to put together a list of three players that I would never want to see hurt...it would be a complete toss-up between those three, Partridge and Briggs.BGSU33 wrote:AT didn't come back, but Barnes did. SAy what you want, but truth is screw ups have no place in sport, or getting a "free ride" One and done.Bleeding Orange wrote:Maybe I was drunk...well, okay I was and am...but didn't AT come back and play later in the game? I am sorry he is injured, I wouldnt wish that upon anyone and truely hope he did not tear anything in his shoulder, as there are only short term fixes for that only you to play but live your life in pain....but lets not forget

I really have nothing against you at all, and it would be great to met you in person sometime, but I have been in total disagreement with your position on AT's position on this team for some time. Believe me, if I harbored any resentment towards you, the booze would have brought it out from me by now tonight...MACMAN wrote:SAy what you want, but truth is screw ups have no place in sport, or getting a "free ride" One and done.Bleeding Orange wrote:Maybe I was drunk...well, okay I was and am...but didn't AT come back and play later in the game? From Ryan's Blog (it looks like we won't know more until the team gets home and looked at):
Imagine that before today I had asked you to write down the names of seven BG players you’d least like to see injured. Wouldn’t Anthony Turner, Freddie Barnes and Erique Dozier be somewhere on that list? Ouch. Coach Brandon didn’t know the severity of the injuries following tonight’s 20-7 loss at Boise State. It’s a shoulder problem for Turner and Barnes, and I’m not sure what’s wrong with Dozier. During warm-ups I noticed Barnes wearing a sling, so it would seem that this is not a new injury. Is that good news or bad news? I could make an argument either way. Dozier was helped off of the field at least five minutes after the game. It did not look good at all.
