That was the best game management I've ever seen.

Wyoming only beat North Dakota State by 3. We gotta beat 'em heading into the MAC.

Whether you think we have a decent or terrible coaching staff, you have to admit that whoever calls our offensive plays are simply odd people.

I think we need more coordinators to fix it.

Yeah, definitely.

Bad play calling and we can't hold onto the damn football, or we throw it to the other team. Awful, just awful

I'm in - can we use more footballs, too? Maybe a quadruple reverse pass at the 1 yard line, and then we can run it the next 5 plays, too. Right after calling a timeout, of course. Then fumble.

Looks like the Falcon D did a nice job in half two. Some homecooking will maybe cure the Offensive woes. Hope AT is OK-he's a serious weapon and I hate to see anyone get hurt-especially in their senior year. Good game at a tough place to play.

That's the way I'm looking at it h2o. We went into one of the toughest places to play in the country and lost by 13 with inexplicable playcalling, a controversial fumble, 2 missed FGs, and a dropped TD. The offense has been pretty inept thus far, but I think most of that will change when the quality of defenses goes down starting in 3 weeks.

All I can say at the moment is that I guess it wasn't the WORST waste of $21.95 in my life... (BO, tell your mom I said hi, btw.) I just wish GamePlan would note the source of the feed you're picking up. I expected some homery announcing, but the lousy cameras, replays and uninformed announcers (Did anyone else catch that Eric Ransom run?) was a bit much at times.

There was a lot to be unhappy with, without (IMHO) a lot to flat out rip to pieces. We knew Boise would be a tough place to play, and while this program is light years beyond "moral victories", the fact that they turned two missed field goals and a 20 point deficit into legitimate (if fleeting) thoughts of a win is something, I guess. Not to mention doing it with a third of the offensive playbook on the sidelines with injuries.

A disappointing loss, for sure, but we've got two weeks to wake up and get back on the winning track against Wyoming and head into the MAC.

Well said, TG. I had the Gameplan as well and didn't know I was gonna get the local feed for the game...it was crap. Oh well...

As far as the game? Hell most people here picked us to get ripped...I saw 51-14, 49-17 and so forth. I though the team played hard and never packed it in...which would have been easy at 20-0. The mistakes killed us and you can't do that against a team like Boise State. I thought our D played pretty well but the Offense was off...no question. This was a game we could have won but we failed to finish drives. I thought our playcalling was suspect at times and that falls on the coaches calling the plays.

I remember saying at the start of the season, 2-2 non conf would be a good start. Most thought it would be a GREAT start. So, beat Wyoming and the team is 2-2. These first four games mean nothing in the MAC.

I was very disappointed we lost...always am. But the team did not roll over and die. This team has heart...and will bounce back. We won't see a team like Boise State the rest of the season...unless we meet Ball State in the MACC> ;-)
