I must say, Boise fans sure do sound pretty whiny about other people's whining.BoiseStateRules wrote:"I don't know if the blue turf is an unfair advanatge or not...I do know that it looks truly horrid and kind of low rent.... "
Funny, every team that comes here and loses says the same thing. Like it or not, the Blue has become an icon for the Broncos and, aside from whiny losing teams and their fans, is pretty well respected.

Different game, I know, but basketball courts come in a variety of colors, or at least the colored parts do. If the paint area is blue at UT and orange at BG does it give someone an advantage? Tennis courts are a variety of colors as well.BoiseStateRules wrote:

I think Boise has established an identity that is helped by a one of a kind turf but much more so by defending it unmercifully. I hope to get a chance to see it in a couple years.

Your peripheral vision has to suffer when trying to pick up the home Boise players when all around is blue turf and then players are wearing all blue uni's. You also have to give Boise's fan support some credit. All throughout the game whenever BG made a stop on D , when the offense got the ball the crowd was instantly loud and into it even if they were lifeless before hand. The Boise crowd was also very loud and probably the will be the loudest venue we will play at all year.moneymaker02 wrote:the blue turf is an advantage because you guys wear blue jerseys. the ncaa shouldnt allow to wear blue at home, u should have to wear orange. after the 05 game players came back and said u couldnt even tell someone was on the field.

Speaking of "whinney", just spend an hour or so and read all of this whinning on the "buttnuts" page. It is GREAT entertainment!

I can relate to visiting teams fans not liking the blue. It took me about 10 years to get use to it. I remember thinking how gimmicky it looked on television. After 20 years or so it would be weird seeing a green field.
I have read the comments regarding your QB and I think some are being a little harsh. He had a TD dropped, and gave what the D gave him for most of the game while being pressured a lot. He completed 2/3 of his passes while missing a couple of good receivers (injuries) if I am not mistaken.
IMO it is a common problem with your style of offense when it comes to the red zone. We see it with teams in our conference. Just my .02 and I hope I didn't offend anyone on your site.
I see you play Wyoming next game. We have played them in recent years. Their defense is usually pretty good but their offense is mediocre at best. With your offense, I really like your chances.
