I'd rather listen to DD than Colin Cowherd.

I seriously think this is a great move for him. He's always been entertaining, if nothing else!

+1

I was thinking the exact same thing. Damn those people are lucky to not have to listen to Colin. I just hope DD can keep his voice every day...I can't remember one press conference where it didn't sound like he'd smoked 5 packs a day for 60 years.

I think he'll be a far better radio host than he was a basketball coach...he was always comfortable and entertaining when he was on 1470.

And opinionated. Like it or hate it, that is what makes a good sports talk show host.

Maybe we should all send 1470 (Wammer) an email and see if we can get it syndicated in place of Coherd in NW Ohio!!!

Colin Cowherd has ripped on the city of Indy on more than one occasion before, I wonder if they got complaints?

There are three sport stations in Indy. He will be going against Dan Patrick and part of a Fox show and 1st hour of the Jim Rome. He couldn't be any worse than those two azz clowns.

I might have to call and ask his thoughts on the Stroh Center :-)

Very true. Even though in Indy it should be called THE BANDWAGON FAN. And every city has to have some cheeseball morning show called the morning zoo or the wake up crew.

Maybe Dan can replace Colin "I am right every given moment of the day and will only talk about NY, Boston or LA because they are the only towns that get ratings which means no one else is interested in any other town" Cattleherd at ESPN. God, that would be justice.

I always liked his "Dan ask Dan" segments on TV. He almost always asked himself what the fans were all thinking.

You don't have to ask Dan about the Stroh Center. He was very gracious and called my parents and thanked them on behalf of all BGSU athletes to come and also went out of his way to find and talk to my dad after my mom passed away.
