I know the Zips lost a lot but seeing them picked last in any preseason poll is crazy

How can Coach Orr use this pick to motivate his team? I almost wish WE would've been picked to finish last, but seeing what Coach Orr has done with this team, I'm sure he will be able to motivate them, and I definitely see this team winning 20 games. I really have confidence in our coach, our team and our future!

I agree, I wouldn't put Akron last either. But honestly, I see a lot of the MAC East teams in men's hoops this year in the same boat as I see them in football - all pretty even. I don't see much in football or basketball that is going to separate them. We shall see.

The Zips were deep deep deep last year. They lost a lot from their stat sheet but they have good players returning and coming in. They'd compete with WMU for the West if they were so lucky to be in that division.
