OMG...NOW, I am very nervous. BGFootballfan is usually pretty legit when it comes to team matters and that makes me worry.
BGFootballfan, or BGFootball?
I get confused by all the similar names.

I do not know anything about this case.
I do know that the DEA and various local police agencies folks have been raiding meth labs around the area. the problem stems from a methlab game-mass grow room game plan, where they can buy houses for cheap, or rent them now in upscale neighborhoods and with dual income folks and such and by keeping foot traffic low at the property they make their poison unbeknown to the neighbors, who may or may not eventually report the odors. items that I know that are related with this activity are, rural break ins by drug seekers and braver acts in the local urban area to lab by the transporters.
Be careful folks and dont ever be "afraid" to report anything you view as suspicious behavior.

I am pretty legit, but have not heard anything about this case and it involving any of our athletes. Sounds like BGfootballfan may know something that I have not heard yet though, which makes me nervous.
Wow, that police report sounds very familiar. Not very creative, can't these guys just buy dope anymore? You serve less time for smoking dope then robbing someone and stealing it.
I for one hope it is not ANY BGSU student or athlete. This type of behavior is completely unacceptible and it gives the university and the community a bad name regardless if the offenders are BGSU student-athletes or students! Hopefully these guys were out of towners. That's my hope!
If it's football players, they should just cancel the rest of the season and refund tickets, because that's about the only punishment these players will understand. Then, revoke the scholarship money for the year and tell them it's their responsibility to pay for classes for the year.
Relax!! There is not one bit of evidence saying it was football players, student athletes, students, or anybody with any association to BGSU! So breathe in, breathe out, breathe easy. If by some horrible twist of fate it was somebody in the above group, then you all can grab your pitchforks and torches, but you can fully expect to keep the pitchforks in the sheds and the torches unlit.

You may all now return to your daily lives.
I'm kind of astonished and sickened that everybody's freaking out about this at this stage. I guess I understand it a little given the nature of this incident and the previous events with some football players, but this is pretty ridiculous IMO.
Maybe it was football players, maybe it was f**king rodeo clowns from Seattle and their inflatable mattress company went belly-up so they were looking for some valium on the cheap.

I'll agree that I'm kind of bugged by people freaking out before we really know anything, but what bothers me more is that the thought even crossed our minds. Have we fallen so far so quickly that we immediately wonder if our athletes were involved? My concern lies not with the individuals doing the wondering, but with the sad state of affairs that leads to us wonder...

Notice, I said IF.

I dont believe this has anything to do with any student athletes, and I dont even think anyone is assuming anything because they are black suspects. I think it is more of the fact that it is extremely similar to what happened in the summer, and not to mention the victim was associated with the football team at one time, which just made it even more weird. I think that is the only reason people would even have this doubt in their minds. If it was a completely different crime that was committed I guarentee noone on here would automatically start freaking out about it being a student athlete.
So no, I dont think we have fallen that far that fast, I think it is just the similarities that are freaking people out.
I guess the "Notice I said IF" part went unnoticed. If it's not a football player, then fine, but if it is, then it's pretty sad that they haven't learned from the stupid acts of others. It's still pretty stupid, and whoever it is better go to jail for a while for what they did.
