I don't think it's even students from what I've heard now....
We can put this to rest.
This doesn't sound good

Whenever something "bad" such as this USED to happen in BG, it was always "People coming in from the Interstate." No one LIVING in BG or going to school there was ever the first suspect. It was the Crime and Dash people.
Of course, that wasn't always the case, but it DID keep the pitchforks in the shed and the torches just for Flipper's Backyard parties until the REAL info came out.

I'm sorry I freaked out but after all the off the field stuff this past year, I guess I was in the wrong frame of mind.
Grant,
Thanks for the input. Man, did I jump to conclusions way too quickly on this.
I'm done...and will accept my 40 lashes with a wet noodle.

I think you hit the nail right on the head with this post.BGFootball wrote:I dont believe this has anything to do with any student athletes, and I dont even think anyone is assuming anything because they are black suspects. I think it is more of the fact that it is extremely similar to what happened in the summer, and not to mention the victim was associated with the football team at one time, which just made it even more weird. I think that is the only reason people would even have this doubt in their minds.
GO BG!!!
The apartment that got robbed actually is actually the residence (or former residence anyways) of a friend of mine. I had not talked to him in about a week as we don't have any classes together anymore, but today we spoke on the phone and he informed me of the situation.
The police have a few leads, and not a single one of them has anything to do with BGSU. No sports, no students, nothing, except of course the victims, who are all students. They have since moved into a new apartment after losing my friend's laptop computer, a WII console, the assaulted man's desktop computer, and a fair amount of cash to the robbery.
You could not imagine my surprise to learn of that this robbery was in fact my friend. No wonder I hadn't heard from him. Apparently the 'job' had been scouted as the invaders waited until they knew the only person left in the apartment would be the man they ended up assaulting (my friend and the other roommate were both staying with their girlfriends that evening).
From what they said, everyone is okay and in good spirits. Here's to the new place being safe and secure!

Yeah right girl!
Oorah!
Oorah!
Looks like we may have some potential suspects....or not. Should be interesting to see how it shakes out.
