There was no comparing the weather for the Wisky and Miami games. That Miami game was the worst weather I've ever sat thru...and I ended up sick the next day...not only from the loss but a cold. LOL!

I am a proponent of a MAC double-header at Cleveland Browns Stadium. Maybe a 1pm and 7pm game or something like that? Pit one MAC team vs. a service academy in game 1 and then another MAC team vs. a "marquee" match-up (Mid-tier Big Ten team that travels well like Wisconsin or Iowa or another team that would provide and interesting matchup and bring fans). I'd like to see if this could work to provide a fun day of football and make money for the schools involved. . .

I could see this happening if the field was artificial turf. Two football games on a Saturday and a potential Sunday NFL game would be very hard on natural grass.

MAC did a doubleheader at Cleveland Municipal Stadium my freshman year in 1975. We beat Kent and Toledo beat Western Michigan.

See the third paragraph in this Vandelay link

It wasn't very well attended given that there were no marquis schools. Also, I think the weather was terrible.
