Miami and Eastern!? Really? Stick to the ACC, douche bag. And stop pretending to be an "expert" in a conference you know nothing about.

BINGO. We had a nice season last night in Coach Orr's 1st year. But this team needs to learn how to win on the road. It will be a building process but I love seeing what Coach and his staff have been able to do with the program already. We'll get there soon....looking forward to the season.renorvis wrote:Can we get some respect from the experts? I guess we have to win in order to get it.

You're absolutely right about that. Looking at our MAC record, we were 6-2 at home, knocking off Miami, Ohio, and then #23 Kent State. Of the two losses, one was in overtime, and the other was against a very strong Akron team. But on the road, we were awful, with our only conference record coming against a then 3-19 Ball State. We lost several road games (Buffalo, Eastern Michigan, etc) that we should have at least played better in if not won. That's going to be the next step for this team.Falconfreak90 wrote:BINGO. Last year, we had no seniors during MAC play. We started a freshman at point guard and depended on another freshman (Knight) for a chunk of our scoring and rebounding. Furthermore, our go-to guy (Miller) is a horrible FT shooter. A bad road record makes some sense. Fortunately, these are ALL things that we'll improve upon.
Forget predictions...I'd like some "expert" to tell us whether or not we've hired a freakin' assistant coach after it's been almost four months since the position has been open. Seaches for Fortune 500 CEO's take less time than this.
Our recruiting has gone swimmingly, but it would still be nice to function on an even playing field staff-wise with our competitors.

Ugh! Transfer, babe, thanks for the response. Really. But, ya know, you can't just leave it at that, don't you? C'mon. Who is he? Where's he from? While we're at it, how's the team looking? Is everybody healthy? Is everybody eligible? Don't mess with us like that.transfer2BGSU wrote:He has been hired and is on campus working with the team.JoeFalcon wrote:Forget predictions...I'd like some "expert" to tell us whether or not we've hired a freakin' assistant coach after it's been almost four months since the position has been open.
