Radio Party (today's game)

Post by The Niz »

Since the game isn't on TV we decided we are going to have a radio party. Anyone who's in town and wants a more social atmosphere to enjoy the game in is welcome to stop by 131 East Merry Ave. We'll have some beverages and food and of course the pong table. I usually have a full bar stocked in my Falcon's Nest but its a little depleted right now, sorry. We'll have the grill fired at some point also. Feel free to stop by!!

That's what I thought...

Now I just called Legends and Scorchers here in the Akron area...and two days ago they both told me they have DirecTv. These two girls I talked to today said now they can't get the game? I need to call them back and talk to the managers.

BW3 in Belden Village confirmed they can get the game so we may just head there...a 15 min drive is worth it.

I'll find this game if it kills me.

GO FALCONS!!!

After a few calls someone at Manny's Neighborhood Grill told me they have Direct TV and will have the Bowling Green @ Wyoming game. NOw when I show up and actually have to have them dial it up it may be a different story, but for now it looks like I should be watching . . . if not, I'll be back to the computer to listen. . . .

Reverand Chicos in BG has the game in Hi Def! No more need for a radio party, but the peeps want to come here anyways. I think they just like the nest.

What station is it broadcast on in BG? That may be a good thing to know...

The game is in HD? Interesting. The DirecTV guide doesn't the MTN channel for the game in HD although it would be awesome if it was.

Damn, Wish I would have logged on and read this earlier today. I'm sitting in my Sister-in laws house off of Whipple, not 3 miles from that BW3s right now. Could have gotten out of the house full of kids and in-laws and watched the game.
