Thank you.
BTW, I am still around these parts; can't quite go through a total withdrawal yet.

The Future Award -- Lichtensteiger is obviously the heir apparent to Mruczkowski as our leader on the O-line, but unless Winovich is moved to LB, I don't see him having much impact. Our TE is not involved in the offense much and that is the only place other than special teams that I saw him utilized. It would make sense to move a big, athletic young guy to a position he played in high school. Any word on whether the staff is going to do this??

Just noticed that the walkon award is now called the "Aaron Richardson Award".

Congratuulations to Andrew...I can't imaghine the toughness and dedication it took to come back from that kind of injury.

Winovich has indeed been moved back to LB. There was a blurb about it in the Blade a few weeks ago. That's the position Penn Staet and Notre Dame were recruiting him for.

For all of us going down to Mobile, think of it as our way of contending for the Doyt Perry Award next year!
Seeing as how most of us can't afford buying buildings.

Congrats to Andrew!! Well deserved!! Now they need to give an award to Hartmom for being such fantastic Football Mom!!! It was great to see you for a few brief minutes last night!! I gave the coat to Freak for you, and Josh immediately claimed it!! (He looked like a "mini-me" football player with that big coat on!! :D ...too darned cute!!) Give me a call when you are going to be back in town!!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Great time as always. Sat with Ed (BGSU99) at Table 23. Hartmom, SORRY I MISSED YOU! Andrew's award was so EARNED. I was very happy for him. THANX FOR THE COAT!!!! Can never have enough BG gear!

Always hard to see the seniors up there at that table. Every SR class is special but this one seems a little bit extra. Thanks to all the players that stuck around for some pics and chatting. Josh had a blast and was able to give his drawing of Kory Lichtensteiger to him.
Kory, thanks for giving your time...Josh loves watching you play.

Food was great, hi lite video was great as always. Not on sale yet, but look for it soon. I think they wanna add bowl footage before they offer it.

Coach Brandon was very determined to get to the next level.
Special thank you to Jean Panning. She is such a Godsend for our football program. Bless her!
Let's win this bowl game and get 2005 started off the best way.

GO FALCONS!!

Mike ... Great Hanging Out With You At The Banquet!

Post by BGSU99 »

Those banquets are always a great time and Brad Fanning does an awesome job with the highlight tapes. We will certainly miss this year's senior class and I hope they can get a win down at the GMAC Bowl. They came in as winners and they deserve to go out as winners!

Hartmom -- It was great seeing you at the banquet and chatting with you! Sure enjoyed watching Andrew play for all these years and wish the best for him when he is done with college! He was very deserving of that award! I've also enjoyed your insights on the board here as a Falcon Football parent and hope to see you here every once in a while. You take care!
