FWIW: My gun expert friend informs me that the Air Soft plastic pellet gun is visually indistinguishable from a real gun. The plastic pellets bounce off of persons body without injury. He uses them to teach gun safety classes. I will refrain from further comment.

When I was an RA in Conklin, we had to bust someone for shooting a pellet gun at people from the second floor bathroom. They weren't basketball players, so they didn't make the paper.

If I remember correctly, something like 1988-1989.
