EMU Predictions...

Post by Falconfreak90 »

GAMEDAY is only 2 days away! Finally, back home...

EMU is down to a 3rd string QB and can't stop anyone. I like the Falcons to roll with a lot of backups getting PT.

Falcons 44, Eagles 13.

GO FALCONS

*edit* EMU is not down to their 3rd string QB but their top 2 QB's have shoulder problems*

This game won't even be a contest. EMU's offense is horrible, and to add insult to injury, their starting QB is gone for the season. They are going to need to force turnovers in order to score against the Falcons. The only way this game is close is if BG's offense beats itself and turns the ball over.

Eastern Michigan 14
Bowling Green 38

Bgsufalcon24's probability of victory - 95%

EMU's QB = Peeing down his leg
EMU's Fans = Non-existant
BG = Solid butt kicking

BG - 49
The fanless university - 6

EMU coach post-game interview: "I don't even know why we have a team. I mean, did you see us today? My gosh, it was over in the first thirty seconds. I don't know. I just don't know. Football at Eastern Michigan? Sometimes it just doesn't make sense. Do you know what I mean? I just wonder a lot. Why are we even trying anymore?"

This game should not be close. We should destroy EMU. It's homecoming. It's the first home game in a month. Our guys should be fired up and ready to roll an EMU team that hasn't been very good...and they're down to their 3rd QB? Wow.

BG SHOULD absolutely roll over this team.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure how good this BG team is just yet. We've had 2 games where we shot ourselves in the foot with penalties and turnovers. A repeat performance of that and EMU can stay in this thing. Penalties & turnovers will make anyone a daunting opponent. If we play like we did against Wyoming or Pitt I think we'll win by 40.

At this point I have no guage for which team is more likely to show up...Pitt/WY or MN/BSU. The way I see it we either win by 6 or we win by 40...I don't see 20 as a possibility. Which pretty much guarantees the final score will be BG by exactly 20 :)

I'm sure that does wonders for the team psyche. Ugh. I think the wheels on EMU's train are coming completely off this week.

My girlfriend gets memories of watching a Mount Union football game and wants to leave at halftime, but I tell her "No way Jose!"

A little surprised at the blowout predictions, considering EMU always makes it a closer game than it should be against us...we've won 24-21 and 39-32 the last two years. I'll say BG breaks it open mid-way through the second half and wins 38-21. It won't be easy, they could sneak up on us if the team is overconfident.

Yeah I'm with NY-BG on this one. I'm going to be that guy and pick a close game because EMU always plays GB BGSU teams close. They play us a lot better than they actually are most of the time. I know logic says we should blow them out but EMU's got enough talent for me to say no blowout here ... maybe something to the effect of BG 24, EMU 13. Of course I'd much rather see something to the effect of BG 42, EMU 13 which could happen if EMU plays as bad as they actually are.
