I don't think so...especially on offense. I think we have some very talented players on both sides of the ball...maybe as much as anyone in the MAC.
If you agree with me, that can only mean one thing...our coaching is the problem, How else do you explain the dramatic swings in performance, effort and discipline from game to game?
We know they have the ability in them, they just need someone to get it out of them on a consistent basis. I hear people talking about how all tems go through this. Bull$%it. I don't know of another program that goes throught this year end and year out. We have seen it way too many times from a Brandon-lead team. Sure everyone has a stinker game now and then but its deveoped into a pattern at BG under Brandon.
I fear it won't change until we make a coaching change. Roll along to medocrity.

I think the team has a pretty high opinion of their talent level. I think they figured on just trotting out there and hanging a quick score or two on EMU so they could take the rest of the day off after the Eagles folded. WHen they found themselves in a ball game, they didn't seem to know how to react. The sideline looked awful quiet most of the game.
That's the coaches fault...it's the captain's fault...it's the fault of everyone on that team...
What pains me most about this kind of crap is that we really do not have a home field advantage any more. Back in that 02-04 time frame you had the sense that teams didn't want to play in the Doyt. The team came out with a bit of a swagger and really took it to people. I haven't seen that kind of attitude in a looooong time at home. Teams seem to come in here knowing that they can keep it close, that maybe we'll be the team that falters.
That sucks....

It seemed like the Falcons used to keep the proverbial foot on the neck of their opponent. I think we now have a kindler gentler more politically correct coach that wants everybody to be a winner.Flipper wrote:I think the team has a pretty high opinion of their talent level. I'm sure your observation of him "holding" her is purely innocent!
BTW,
How the heck did the ACC chick suddenly accumulate over 110,000 Votes? Man!!! Either FSU has a whole lot spare time on its hands, or they did what the MAC should've done to begin with...encourage the whole conference to vote in a co ordinated way.
