May want to explain yourself a bit more. Good point, but please be careful whom you may offend around here. (Hint: Keep constructive band comments to yourself)poorlycoachedbgsu wrote:but because of bad coaching they suck

...so there's a decent chance we still will.

What's lost in the moaning is that Saturday's loss really didn't effect our ability to win the MAC one iota. It was a crossover game. Every team in the East already has at least one league loss, so if we win out we still win the East. The only team we don't play (Temple) already has 2 MAC losses.
Win out, and we've got a better record than everyone else in the East, period. Saturday's game sucked balls, but we still control our own destiny. Now do I think a Brandon led team has the cajones to win out? Not really, but the fact is that it's still a distinct possibility. And I'd say right now we're the favorite in every one of our remaining games as well.

Is it so hard to believe that we can win the east? Look at last year, how many of you thought we would get to a bowl game after our 4-4 start? Let the team play, and cast judgement at the end of the season. I hope for an East title, and I know its a possibility.

You come out when they lose, but are not heard of when they win. The only thing you offer is "because of a bad coached team they suck". That doesn't really say too much. The Eastern loss was bad and inexcusable.poorlycoachedbgsu wrote:tiznow wrote:I noticed you didn't post after the Wyoming game.
and your point is??? well coached teams don't lose home games to far inferior opponents. period.
Saint Urban recently lost at home to an inferior opponent. He must suck too.

After they win the Akron game, I propose we make a serious group effort at the next home game to make "the walk" a memorable experience. If we give these guys a pumped up entrance maybe some of our enthusiasm will rub off. We need to do something more than just cheer, clap, and watch them walk by. We need to give them something rude enough to get through to all those ipods.
Perhaps I'm not standing in the right location, but "the walk" is pretty lame on our part. Please let me know if I'm wrong.
Let's motivate these guys when they get off the bus for the Miami game.
Yes, I'm looking past Akron, and I'm trusting the coaches won't (this time).

If we go out and beat Akron in convincing fashion this weekend, doesn't that make the EMU lost that much more of an indictment on this coaching staff?
How can we play at such a high level one week to only fail to show up the next? I predicted that we would go 5-3 in the MAC this year at the start of the season. After last week I see us as a 4-4 team in the conference. All four road games (Akron, Northern Illinois, Ohio and Toledo) will be a crap shoot. Who knows which team shows up. The Miami game is always tough no matter the records and the Buffalo game will test our defense this year.
