Are you ready to admit yet that UM is not going to be a good team at any point this year?

You should, because they are not getting better. They are STILL getting worse. They lost to SLut.

I really honestly thought they had the potential, they've shown good signs, but those signs have been surrounded by crap. So I said earlier they would either gel or fall apart come November, and all signs lead to falling apart ... and my older brother, Michigan alum, has probably been drunk for about twelve hours by now! Yeah, Michigan's pretty bad this year and I could see them putting together another couple wins if they can put together a few more games like that one versus Wisconsin, but that may even be a long shot. Next year, maybe, but more likely the year after because I'm thoroughly convinced that neither of these QBs can run this offense.
Now I didn't see a bit of the game. I was out at Akron supporting my team, just heard the news and my dad gave me a report. Sounds like Michigan's special teams are quite "special" this year ...

Its really between Utah and BYU and the best thing to happen will be both to be undefeated going into the last game.

I wouldn't mind seeing an undefeated Tulsa take on an Undefeated Ball State.
I think BYU really is that good. Utah ... also very very good but they've not yet shown me they're BYU good. Boise I really think is special this year, even with a freshman QB, but he's still a freshman QB and is likely in any game to slip up. I still think Ball State will find a new and exciting way to slip up, maybe as grand as last year's demolition at the hands of CMU. Tulsa, I've not seen at all and I don't know too much about them, but C-USA's pretty good, so if they're undefeated at the end then I'll be likely to put them up there with the winner of BYU/Utah, as long as they're undefeated.
wait, you are the same kid who said Michigan was going to be good...

but...

they are still getting worse.

I heard a guy from ESPN on the radio this morning say the same thing that I am saying....BYU won'tmake it because they don't play anyone..They don't have a game that will keep them from getting leap frogged, or overlooked on the BCS front. Boise has Oregon, South Florida had a shot when they beat Kansas ..BYU=no shot, no big games.
What league is South Florida in again....thought so....

What? You call the little east a BCS conference? I call it a joke.

It is obvious you had nothing to dispute with my argument. So go vote for a terrorist or something, hussein.
Do you work out at Jesse Owens South?

FWIW

Ball State is #20 in the initial BCS rankings. Not bad.

Hawaii ruined the chances for 2 to get in after they got demolished last year. Only one has a chance to get in. They aren't going to get a true powerhouse to come to their house EVER. They can get the Minnesota's or the Oregon States because they are immitations of a BCS school. They ge to enjoy the benefits but they don't belong. That is the best that a non BCS school can attract. If they do draw a true powerhouse, it will be at a nuetral location (see OSU @ UT in Cleveland or OSU @ cincy at paul Brown).

NCAA will never mandate it so why do you continue to waste your time trying to open this discussion.

End it now.

So Hawaii getting demolished ruined the chances? What has OSU getting demolished by LSU and Florida done for the Big Ten and OSU.
It hasn't done anything for the big ten..it has only ruined OSU's chance to play in a national title game for 1 year. When Penn State wins the big ten they will STILL play in a BCS game.

idiot.
Corrected this for you.

11/15 @ Idaho 5:00 PM
11/22 @ Nevada 4:05 PM
11/28 Fresno State ESPN360.com 6:00 PM

A look at some of the games that might affect these rankings

2 Texas Tech
Overall: 9-0
Conference: 5-0
vs. 8 Oklahoma State, 8:00 pm
Overall: 8-1
Conference: 4-1

7 Southern California
Overall: 7-1
Conference: 5-1
vs. 21 California, 8:00 pm

15 LSU
Overall: 6-2
Conference: 3-2
1 Alabama, 3:30 pm

Ball State likely moves up a spot if LSU loses to Bama

An Oke State loss or Cal upset at USC could see the Utes and Boise State both jump into the top 8.
