Yup UT, great win for the conference! I know Michigan's down real bad this year, much worse than I would have imagined, but still, its Michigan, they've got all that talent, and a MAC team knocked them off. Very nice.

A great "media guide win" for Toledo and the MAC. Years from now, no one will remember Michigan struggled this season, but 13-10 isn't going away. UT should be able to get alot of milege out it. Way for them to take advantage of an opportunity.
I'm all for the win, it embarrasses UM, keeps Tommy Boy at UT a bit longer, and likely means nothing in terms of the rest of their probable losing season!
In honor of their win, I shifted "www.OMGweSuck.com" to UM football!

I too had no trouble cheering for Toledo on Sat., but maybe all the hoopla is a bit deceiving. If UT had beaten Indiana, or Minn would the newspapers have reacted in the same way. UT beat a BIG NAME, not a big team. Both teams, to date, have been bottom feeders.
No question, UM is a total suck-fest this year. Yet, when the day comes that this happens to Ohio State, the victorious team will cheer for all eternity. All people are saying is that it is a bragging rights game. They are entitled to enjoy it, but playing it up as something big, that will draw rebukes pretty quick.
The back-handed joy is how hard this really hits UM fans, having lost to UT. UT isn't very good either, and some will rate this loss as even worse than losing to ASU last year.

Nice win for UT...possibly the worst game of football I've ever seen, but a win gainst the Big 10 is always a feather in the cap for the MAC....although just saying that plays into the OSU love fest.
Michigan will improve when the OL gets it and they find a QB that can run a read option correctly...not to mention make simple 10 yard throws. Give Michigan Nate Davis or Dan Lefevour and they'd be so much better...
We like to make fun of Amstutz on here because of his weight....but I'm genuinely concerned about the man's health. I think he's bigger than he's ever been before. I hope he can get his weight under control because he's setting himself up for some very serious health issues
toledo won that game despite toledo Tom trying to lose it. That 4th down call at the end of the game made me wince. I still would have punted. That tells you how bad Michigan is. They had no right losing that game. An ugly game is defined when you win without scoring a TD on offense.

Punt from the 32 yard line? Are you kidding? Going for it was absolutely the right call. They just didn't execute very well on that play.

I'm not sure I can think of a single situation where punting from the 32 yard line makes sense. When they called the timeout I thought sure they were going to screw up and try to punt. It was the absolute right call to go for it there. A FG would've been fine if you think your kicker has a reasonable shot to make it, but I'd still prefer to go for it. If you get the first down you win the game.
