Glad to see things are back to "normal" after the rare win on Saturday.

Is that a MAC record for fastest arrest after setting a MAC record for Moore? :-D

Arrest

Post by rocketfootball »

Wow, are you guys really talking? How many offseason arrests did BG have?

The truth of the matter is that in this day and age technological advances have given the media access to arrests and altercations that they didn't have 20 years ago. We are seeing information come out at every school these days, including UT and BG. 20 years ago the same stuff was happening, but the media wasn't getting wind of it because of the lack of technology we have today.

4th Down

They had no right losing that game. An ugly game is defined when you win without scoring a TD on offense.
Punt from the 32 yard line? Are you kidding? Going for it was absolutely the right call. They just didn't execute very well on that play.
I'm not sure I can think of a single situation where punting from the 32 yard line makes sense. When they called the timeout I thought sure they were going to screw up and try to punt. It was the absolute right call to go for it there. A FG would've been fine if you think your kicker has a reasonable shot to make it, but I'd still prefer to go for it. If you get the first down you win the game.
I agree it was the right call to go for it, but I wish we would have called a play with the receivers running routes past the 1st down marker. I hate when we do that crap on 3rd and 4th down and expect the receivers to break tackles to get the first down.

Curiously, a quick search on "our" board reveals a lengthy list of posts made by one "Factman". And that's a fact.

Yeah, RF has been absent from this board for months until Toledo's legacy rears its ugly head again and voila, he is back on here to see what we are saying and chip in his one cent worth.

Did someone just define a troll? :D

Gee..I could swear I've read a number of posts on the Rockette board telling factman to stay here on azz.com because his rapier like wit has proven too much for the intellectual mediocrities that inhabit that board.

It would seem that he's entirely justfied in upholding our standards by admonishing the interlopers from the clearly inferior institution to the north to stay away.... :-)

I'm sorry, I thought this thread was about the two Rocket Football players who got arrested after the UM game.......

Can anybody direct me to that thread?

Gotta agree with RF. We know about these things instantly these days. Looks like Moore and his teammate were out celebrating a BiG win and things got out of control, at least what I read.

Wow, I check your board every once in a while, just don't post much anymore. Factman, if you don't want me here, then have me banned. I do believe the last time I posted here before this I was telling you guys about a new football commit you received though.

Post something about UT and don't expect any comments from UT fans? It's not like I called you names or anything. I didn't even put BG down, just gave the point that this kind of stuff happens pretty much everywhere.

I must say, BG is the only college sports team's board that I have posted on and their fans called me a troll and told me to go back to my own board. What does that say about you Factman?

Factman does not speak on behalf of this board. ;-) Nor does Redwingtom, nor does MACMAN...or Metz... or FalconBoy... or... well, OK, maybe Falconboy does.

You're welcome here... All Rockets fans are welcome... all fans of any description are welcome here. BUT we ARE Falcon fans... we're not Rocket fans. Just keep that in mind. ;)
