Buffalo is my next home game

Post by Pete Segaard »

Only one home game left for me. The things we do for our children. My son's football team went undefeated this year and the team plays in their championship game against the Norwalk Truckers, but it gets moved from Sunday to this Saturday. Can't watch the Miami home game. Football Banquet is November 1, the day of the Kent State home game. I really need to make these people understand that PEEWEE football functions need to be on Sundays.

I'm gonna miss this weekend's game also. The oldest boy got bumped up and has a chance to play JV this Saturday at 10. My daughter has volleyball tournament games at noon and 1 in Sylvania. And my youngest son has a football game at 1 in Holland-Sylvania, or wherever you call that area where the CYO fields are. Might be able to make it back in time to catch the fourth quarter though.

And my daughter got two free tickets to this game and we can't even use them! :x

I've got two hours of kickboxing class, a pool to finish closing and some trails to clear. The Redskins will just have to wait until next year's trip to Oxford. (hope I can get a cabin at Hueston Woods instead of the Dayton KOA next year...)

Here is a pic of the poor boy, sorry about the team name on the jersey.

I got a little artsy with camera phone.

We have 13 days off between playing OU and Buffalo...how big is that? Could (should) be a HUGE game...and we'll have plenty of time to prepare.

Buffalo has eight days after their game against @ Akron on 11/13.

Great jersey!! Right jersey but the Cole MAgner haircut gives him a Falconesque tinge as well. And the jersey is scarlet....hmmmm, this boy is gonna be confused.

This game start time unfortunately intercepts my little Falcon's flag football game start, and I'm completely depressed over missing this contest. What's a dad to do? The earliest we could make BG would be 1pm. I'm still torn on whether to make to trip for a shortened game experience with the usual 95 minute drive.
I guess it comes down to how much work I can get done around the house if I stay home. I'll have to check and see if my fav' local bar can provide tv service.
On a separate note, will there be much AZZ tailgating going on Saturday? No Posts regarding?
