I heard from one of Darren Goodsen's close associates that he will not be attending BG next year. My guess is that even though he was acquitted the coaches still do not want to deal with him.
In the event he does not attend I think this guy should be a prospect we should heavily pursue, if we already aren't.

I suspected as much when Darion Goins name appeared as a verbal commitment.renorvis wrote:I heard from one of Darren Goodsen's close associates that he will not be attending BG next year. My guess is that even though he was acquitted the coaches still do not want to deal with him.

We now have 14 commits for 13 scholarships for the 09-10 season. There is still something we don't know.

DAMN! Not a surprise but I was afraid this was going to be the case the second I heard about the incident. This is a shame on many levels. Some guys at work and I were just looking over the new Sporting News magazine the other day and in the back it has their All-America Team, followed by their High Honorable Mention and Honorable Mention Teams. The trio of Danny McElroy, Darren Goodson & Cortez Howell were all listed here. What’s more, for the nation’s All-Metro Teams, for the city of Cincinnati, those three were three of the five who made the team. I’m very happy to know McElroy is still coming to BG but it’s disappointing to hear Goodson and Howell won’t be following.renorvis wrote:I heard from one of Darren Goodsen's close associates that he will not be attending BG next year.
