It's funny, but I wasn't a huge fan of the brown jerseys when I went to school (in the era when those were our home jerseys), but I've grown fonder of them over the years, largely because of what some other people have mentioned -- there are lots of orange jerseys out there, but very few brown.

During the '70s, I did kind of like the orange pants and helmets with the white away jerseys with brown letters. I did like the orange jerseys and white pants combination I saw the Josh Harris-led teams where on TV a couple of times.

I perfer the browns as more of an alternate jersey...and the Miami game saturday would be a perfect time. Big game and maybe alittle extra motivation for the boys?

The LAST thing we need to give these guys is extra motivation, especially on parent weekend where they are likely to have their parents and siblings in attendance. You get too hyped up for a game, you try too hard, and you make stupid mistakes. We don't need that this weekend.

I won a BGSU Orange game worn jersey years ago, but it has a Gary Blackney sig on it. Still trying to figure out if I can get the ink out of it.

I picked up a number of game worn white jerseys from the 1991-1992 teams.

I've got a couple brown game worn jerseys...one from the 1985 MAC title year and the other from the 1997 season. I usually don't wear them to games cuz they're so long and look like a dress.

No. And most of them still have the MAC logo patches on them, and several notable player numbers. 8-)

And I'll tell you all something that will really peeve some of us off. Ye Olde Tom Noe bought, em mass, boxes of game worn, vintage BGSU hockey jerseys, the really old ones from the mid '90s. I trucked up to his former store in Maumee hoping to snag one, but he wanted an arm and a leg, at least, as I saw it in the late 90s. To this day I wonder where they went, and if his wife has them hidden someplace, or if they got auctioned off when the state liquidated the business.

But I still have some old Union Signage I might let go someday. Best move I made that last auction day was ask if I could take my tools and strip the room and directory signs from the building.

Damn shame was I had bought one of the score tables and wrap-around bench from the bowling alley, but not even I an two blue shirts with power tools could dislodge the cursed thing.
