Silver Lining?
Silver Lining?
Every team in the Mac East has two conference losses already...Akron has the lead at 2-2 (and we own the tie-breaker against them)...Assuming we can turn it around (huge assumption i know), but Mac E championship isn't out of reach...sadly...

It's not totally hopeless. As bad as this team can be, we've also seen they can be pretty good if they have their head screwed on right. If we limp into the MACC somehow, it's certainly not out of the realm of possibility to upset Ball State. We managed to beat Pittsburgh in a true road game, so just about anything's possible.
Is it likely? Hell no. But at least it's something.

I agree J4H, but right now it's just to hard to envision that. This team is such a long way from the Pitt effort, it seriously feels like that game happened in a different season or Pitt was playing a different opponent. Of course, all hope is not lost, but I just can't see us recovering to have another 8-4 or 7-5 season. It's sad, but it's just how I feel. I hope I'm proved wrong.Jacobs4Heisman wrote:It's not totally hopeless. As bad as this team can be, we've also seen they can be pretty good if they have their head screwed on right.
