Players coach. They knew it when they hired him. They wanted the same "exciting" brand of high flying football Meyer brought, and not to lose players.

Dumb. To have our players just doing whatever they want unchecked by the coaching staff is unacceptable.

I just want to make it known that one player was kicked off this year due to being late to a meeting...so dont think it is being overlooked...

Kicked off the team? Benched for a game?

And if it isn't be overlooked, it is obviously not being noticed by the team, which is from where we are learning about it.

As a matter of fact the coaches and the seniors made the decision to kick him off...so the players notice it...

Why? The last BGSU coach that did that was criticized to no end by members of this board.

Sounds very much like there are more details than simply a guy missing "a" meeting. So it doesn't provide much cover.

Really? A guy got kicked off for being late to meetings yet three guys that steal a credit card only get one game suspensions? Doesn't seem equitable.

For those of you that have followed my posts in the past, you know the things I have said are reliable and I would never post something that wasn't true on here. You can take it however you want. I am not stating whether they were the right punishment or equal punishments, I am just stating what I know.

Wasn't questioning you at all BGFootball. I know you have provided some inside info and we appreciate. Just don't understand the coach's discipline policy, that's all.

Can you say who it was that got the boot? I remember the Hardwick/Barrow/Lewis triangle and some other quitters, but I don't remember hearing about anyone who was shown the door.

I'm not doubting you, since you're probably the most reliable poster in this forum, but I just don't remember hearing about this.

I don't think I am in any position to throw any names out there, but he is still listed on the roster but has been gone for awhile now. I am sure if some of you do some research and look at the roster you will notice someone that is listed that you probably haven't heard much about lately, and I bet you wouldn't be surprised what side of the ball he played on. That's about all I will say on the issue.
