Will never happen
It's already starting to happen. We won't be over 10K for the Kent game regardless, and if it's a bad weather day, look out. Sub-7K might be a possibility.
As for me, I'll be at the final two games, I just can't sit in my apartment or be doing something else around town knowing there is a game going on at the stadium. I would rather be at a sporting event featuring the worst team ever then doing something else somewhere, thats just how I am
Cincy, there's a part of me that says if we win at NIU this week (which I predicted btw) it's going to be next to impossible to not go to the Doyt on November 1st. It's in my blood, if we're in any sort of contention, there's no reason to not make a home football game, not for bad weather, not for bad opponent, not for anything outside of a family member dying or something really serious.

The problem for me is, if I go to the game on November 1st, and we lose AGAIN, while acting like thugs/azzhats in the process a la Miami and EMU...

If hope springs eternal, and yet BG keeps losing, does that mean we are in hell?

Trust me, when they see the low revenues they will realize that the fans are not going to take it anymore and that something has to be done. Money talks more than words. I will not be attending any more home games this year, but ill be up at the Toledo game, tradition you know!
I'm a true fan. This is my last year as a BGSU student. I support the BGSU football team and all BGSU sports. I support the athletes, as my peers, my classmates, and in many cases, my friends. And you're suggesting that I don't show up?
Not A Chance.
REPEAT:
Not A Chance.
First of all, obviously you should support your friends. I apologize if my comment in any way suggested that you shun your friends because they have lost a couple games.

Second of all, you have no right to tell me Im not a true fan. I have always supported this program and the "hard working" guys on the team. I was rooting for the falcons when i was 15 years old and i lived 3 hours away. I love the way BG teams keep fighting hard, even when the chips are down. I love how BG teams win and lose with dignity. I AM a true BG fan, have no doubt about that.

That being said, why would i not go to the games if im a true fan? B/c i recognize what is going on this season. No offense or disrespect intended, but this program is going down the drain fast this year. Off the field trouble, on the field trouble. Coaching staff being completely unprepared. Players showing no heart, no emotion (not implying this to every player). Being late to meetings, missing practice. This shows me that some (its unclear how many) players do not care. The level of preparedness by the coaching staff implies that they don't care. Im sure many of them work hard, long hours but when it comes down to it the job is not getting done.

Since I am on the outside looking in, I cannot say who is to blame for these troubles but i will say one thing: a team that shows no dignity, class, concern, motivation, is a team i cannot support with my presence. And for whatever reason this team appears, to me, to be doing just that. Just my opinion.
Of course I don't have the right to say you're not a true fan ... and I didn't say that you weren't. Read my post again. And no offense taken ... we just differ greatly in opinion on this matter.
MarkL has spoken.
You may all now return to your daily lives.

My apologies Mark. Yes lets just agree 2 disagree here. 8-) We all want the same thing here.....to win. My comment may have been a little out of place and of course I will go to the home games i can make. It was kind of just a spur of the moment thing. I never have been a fair weather fan and im not going to start now......Just very frustrated.

Not only are Joyce and I planning to attend the KSU game, we MAY be bringing along my OSU daughter (OK-so she's not perfect), her boyfriend and my two grandkids! Will have to get tix for them if they DO come...(she's put in a proviso re: the weather)....I'd love to bring them all up to the campus, take them around a bit....and hopefully see a WIN at home!!!
