Everyone, needs to step back and relax. It is still early December! The season is only a few games old. Freakman says it best...as always (you da man, freak) it is going to take time for this team to gel together. The talent is there. I see some players emerging as leaders on the floor (McDowell, Mann, Honnager,Lewis) as well as the designated captains.
Everyone has a role. I am sure the coaches know more than any of us, and that is probably why some people are playing more than others. We are not at practice. We are not aware of everything that goes on. Have a little faith in our staff.

On a side note, I am not saying this is the case here, but if you notice in many, many cases, girls tend to fade out as they get older. I would love to see the numbers, but no way do they compare when you compare women who finish 4 years of college bball to men. Many times they lose interest, or gain interest in other things. For many women, playing basketball at age 22 or 23 just isn't in the cards. It is harder for women to stay in shape as they get older. Heck, women peak athletically their sophomore year of high school in most cases!! It is not unusual by any means to see a senior lose playing time.....

I have a friend who is currently on the team, and she said he is firm but fair. He can ride a player if he doesn't see them playing up to their potential but if he didn't then he woudln't care about them. He wants his players to be the best they can be on the court, in the classroom and in everything they do. Curt Miller is the best thing that has happened to the women's basketball program. He has instilled discipline in his players and a mental toughness that all good athletes must have to truly be the best at their sport. Who can argue with what he has been able to accomplish at BG in a short amount of time. I stand behind him and the rest of the coaches 100%.

Thank you, that's exactly what I've been saying. If there were someone on the bench who could have contained that Depola, I'm sure he would have put her in...but we don't have anyone who can honestly do it. Just SAYING that Kapfer could do it, doesn't mean she could. If she's that good, she'd be playing more...bottom line!
Living in Virginia....so this is what elevation looks like =)
