Volleyball Wins In a Thriller

The falcons beat Ball State 3-2 in a very exciting game. 1st set went to Ball St who controlled the tempo throughout. The Falcons came out strong to win the second set, in dominating fashion. BG took the 3rd set, although it was much closer. Ball St stepped up to win the 4th set. 5th set was absolutely intense. Score was something like 14-11 favoring Ball St but the Falcons come back to win 17-15. Very exciting game. Meeks set an NCAA record for most consecutive games with 10 or more digs, now at 81. Also, Halm now owns the BGSU record for career block assists, with 414. Great job girls!!! Toledo is tomorrow.........

The girls do like to make things exciting, as this was their 9th match of the season that went 5 game, and since they are 8-1 in said matches, I take the exciting if that trend keeps up

EXCELLENT! Reminds me of the Akron match a couple weeks ago. BG won game 1, lost games 2 & 3 and then won games 4 & 5.

BG is now 17-7, 6-3 MAC.
