Coaches that should be fired

Post by cowboyjoe »

Since all of you were getting on Brandon for losing as a 9 point favorite last week against Miami, here is something to roll around in those falcon heads of yours.

Vanderbilt, Northwestern, Virginia, Pittsburgh and New Mexico State all were 9-12 point favorites yesterday and all lost their games outright. Wow...I wonder what those school's message boards are like today, heh? I wonder if the sky is falling for them today?

Yes but are all of those teams 3-5?? And 1-3 in a joke of a conference like the MAC EAST?!?!? I think not. BG not only blew it against Miami, they blew it against Minnesota (without the fumbles we had a very good chance), we blew it against Boise, we blew it against Eastern, and we blew it against Northern. We have a legit reason to be mad as hell. Im not blaming it all on the coaches but obviously they have to be held accountable.........

I'll guarantee the Pitt forums are calling for Wannstatdt's head.

And Vanderbilt was undefeated and ranked for the first time in like 50 years or something. I'm guessing they are ok with their coach. But they have low/no expectations.

And I would throw Northwestern in the low/no expectations category. They are an academics school. Any success on the athletic field is a bonus for them.

Virginia? Al Groh's team is as schizo as Brandon's. One week they will get shut out by an awful Wyoming team, then they will win five in a row over ranked teams. But they are in the ACC so I don't know if they actually play football, much less care about it.

New Mexico St? Are they in the FCS?

I don't see a team on that list which is considered a power within their own conferences. Certainly none should be as well regarded as BGSU should be within its own conference.

As noted before over several years, why Brandonistas are so particular on saying BGSU should accept being lousy as a way of life, just to support a discount coaching staff is beyond me.

The prayer chain of "save Brandon" excuses are growing by the hour.
