BGSU @ Ohio State

Post by NY-BG-FAN »

On the Big Ten Network, 11/24 at 8 p.m.

As a side note, on 1/31 ESPN2 has "MAC Game" penciled in for Noon. We play @ NIU that day. On 3/1, ESPNU also has "MAC Game" scheduled for Noon. We play @ Akron that day.

On the NIU game being televised - no chance in hell
On the Akron game being televised - good possibility

neither of those games are currently scheduled for noon, guess we'll have to wait and see if a time change is announced

I would if I could...unfortunately being 7 hours away on a Monday squashes that...sigh...I'll be watching.

In '05 I saw Indiana play OSU at the Schott, because it's such a big arena it's a little more like an NBA atmosphere, but all in all I thought a pretty good place to see a game.

I'll have to catch it on the Big Ten Network. Day 2 of the new job and I was lucky to get 11/21 and 11/28 off without pay for the last two regular season football games.

I'm coming from Princeton NJ for it...probably only game I'll get to this year, possibly Duqesne (sp?)

If this team can develop the chemistry quickly, they could OSU a run for their money. Thad Matta can bring in talented teams, but they do not stay for very long. Inexperience may be our biggest weapon that game.

Yeah, the Schottenstein Center is almost exactly like Quicken Loans Arena. The building design is almost identical except that the upper deck doesn't extend quite as high, capacity is about 19K compared with 20.5K at the Q.

Anyone planning a shuttle or a car pool down there? I really want to go, but even with lower gas prices, still cant afford that trip ('tis the life of a college student) :smt022

I used to live near Dayton so I've been to the Schot more than a few times!!! Great environment for high prestige college basketball, when it is at capacity. When its half-full, AA beats it any day!!!!!

I hope BG makes a good game out of this. We know OSU was able to do less with more last year, but they keep rolling in great recruits, so we'll see.
