It's supposed to be coming in February. Improve the quality of what's on the ice and who cares what the building looks like. Ever been to Yost? Looks like a complete dump.

Yost is not a dump. It's probably my favorite road arena to visit.

Jimmy played pretty well tonight. the few times when we stoped going hard, we gave up goals. Their goal tender kept them in the game for a pretty good strech of the 2nd. This team is working hard and it looks to be paying off.

BTW - when did the As arrive? Was that not announced, or have I just been in a cave?

What I found frustrating tonight was not the fact we gave up 3 goals in the 2nd period, but that it seemed like we were trying to go one-on-one with the defender and get our shots in. I felt like there was no puck movement, and I swear our point players didn't touch the puck once in the 2nd

. The Third was a nice improvement though, and i look forward to a return trip for a hockey game.

In case anybody missed it:

STRIPPED: BG senior Tim Maxwell has been stripped of his captaincy after not traveling to Alaska for what Paluch said were "academic reasons."
Junior Kyle Page, who had shared the captaincy with Maxwell, will be BG's captain. Seniors Kevin Schmidt and Brandon Svendsen are the assistant captains.

Completely agree. Even though I hate how good they play at home, there isn't a better home ice advantage in the CCHA. There's such a history in that barn and it's pretty well maintained for its age. That, my friends, is a sign from their administration that they care about their hockey program.

My point exactly. It's not pretty. Seriously. From the outside it looks like almost every other old brick building. ffejfalcon was saying how bad our building looks from the outside. I don't think it looks any worse than Yost.

Maybe you've been up there since I have last then b/c last I remember it did look 'bad.'
