Oops :) Here it is:
Disclaimer, I wasnt in attendance as it was closed but, the word outta Millet Hall in Oxford, Ohio, is that Mullins isn't worth the Charmin he wipes his butt with. Apparently although I know this was a controlled scrimmage, but Miami dominated OSU, winning the 30 min scrimmage and all the situational games. Mullins apparently got schooled numerous times one on one by Miami Freshman center Julian Mavunga, and couldn't do anything offensively against a very small Miami front line. Look for Miami to surprise alot of people this year, and OSU to be alot like the team they fielded last year. But their record should be better playing in a very weak Big Ten.

Good luck to all, go Hawks!

Is this supposed to imply that we have a good shot at beating OSU or what?

Yeah, we should run right over the Buckeyes now :^o

OSU is not a force this year. They are very dependent freshman. Lighty will be tough. Sounds like we'll get a crack at freshman Mullins before he pulls his head out of his rear! I see no reason to not expect a win.

They also had some Euro ruled ineligible for 12 games today.

But I'm more concerned about Miami(OH) being better than advertised than anything to do with OSU.

Our HS basketball team, St. Paris Graham played Mullins and Canal Winchester last season in the tournament, and lets just say it wasnt pretty for little ol' BJ. This guy was the most unsportsmanlike player that I have seen in recent years. Every time one of his layups/dunks was contested he would run to the ref and argue argue argue, it was horrible. I do believe he recieved a technical foul and he did foul out of the game in the 4th. Several charging fouls were called on him, each time he would be whining and complaining (I was on the floor so I heard everything). We did a really good job of containing him, even with much smaller players. So yes he can be stopped, but it takes an aggressive game plan. Needless to say we beat Canal and advanced to the final 4. At the end of the game, BJ walked off the court without shaking hands with anyone. This kid has a LOT of growing up to do.

I'd rather have OSU be better than Miami. As great as a win over Ohio State would be, they don't stand in our way of a 40+ year drought. Miami does.

Mullins acted the same way when Canal Winchester played Buckeye Valley in last season's tournament. He complained about every call against him, taking the ref aside to discuss the call. Not only that, but BJ was knocked on the ground during the game and Scott Thomas held out his hand to help BJ up. BJ slapped Scott's hand away and said, "get the f out of my face". What a good sport...NOT !!
