Siren when we score

Post by dforde »

Why is nobody operating the siren when we score a goal. I really miss hearing that blast through the arena when we get a goal. Is it broken or is it just a matter of nobody to operate it?

That would be hilarious if it was broken. That would give people one more reason to complain that the BG administration doesn't care about hockey.

FWIW, the siren was built by a hockey fan and donated to the university. It is run by volunteers.

This administration has stiffled much of the "volunteerism" or PO'd people so they won't volunteer!

Call Buddy Powers, the ice arena director!! Hope you get the "job!"
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

By "administration" do you mean the athletic department's director, or the caretaker from "We Dropped Hockey" State?
