BG started a tad slow but slowly and surely pulled away for the victory. Transfer Nikki McCoy had 16, Uhl off the bench scored 20 and Pontius with 14. One more exhibition game for our falcons before the season officially starts. Clapper looked very good shooting the ball coming off the knee surgery hitting I believe 2 3's. She wore no knee sleeve or brace and ran the floor very well. Slagle plays very good defense , hounds the ball handler much like our beloved Golds. McGowan is deceptively quick. Looks likes she's hardly moving then bam she moves from one spot to another quicker than an eyelash. Giese didn't suit up but will be available in a week per Roose's post game interview. OGBR Legends is the next exhibition and is made of up former OSU and WNBA players so they will be much taller and bigger than us as we were much bigger than Findlay tonight. All in all it was great being in AA for basketball again.
It was NOT pretty empty!!! I thought it was a GREAT crowd, and my guesstimate would be in the 1,000-1,200 range. Nice job by the ladies and a nice start to the season.

No wonder you were quiet the whole game...you were counting all the people!
