And oh yeah...Jay Cutler got me 35 fantasy points last night.
Thanks Browns

Yeah and Eddie Royal gave me 25.Redwingtom wrote:Did anyone see Kory in the backfield blocking for Denver's first TD last night? He got a mention for a great block as well as the mention of his alma mater and then he got some camera time with his helmet off on the sidelines.

Yeah, I didn't realize Brady Quinn was going to be smart enough to throw to open guys rather than forcing it to Edwards all night long. Good call by you, screwup by me.footballguy51 wrote:I vaguely remember somebody telling me it was a bad idea to sit Edwards. Considering he had one catch for 15 yards, I'll take the bad decision to sit him.

There was a couple of plays at the goal line that he was in on, and I'm pretty sure he was on the kick return team as well.Redwingtom wrote:I don't know if I would go that far. To my knowledge, that was the only play he was in for.VDub26Falcon wrote:I'm glad Kory played a good game. He deserves it. The thing that ticks me off is that the Browns still could've won that game, even with Kory having a great game.

They aren't going to go down field with brady like they did with anderson because brady doesn't have an arm that can stretch the field. You can't deny that anderson has a cannon but has been terrible this year. theres a reason he fell all the way to the browns. I see brady being just like chad pennington, always making the smart play, never throwing that many int's. but will never stretch the field because he just cant.Warthog wrote:I played Edwards.hammb wrote:Yeah, I didn't realize Brady Quinn was going to be smart enough to throw to open guys rather than forcing it to Edwards all night long. Like he needed to get him some touches, but he was never open. Being at the game I didn't see the replay, but the one he threw to Edwards in the end zone, I swear Heiden was standing in the middle of the end zone and no one with in ten yards of him.
Quinn did ok last night, but they never threw the ball down the field. Don't know if that was the play calling or Quinn just making quick decisions to check down to the short receiver.
It's always tough to say from watching on TV, but it seemed to me that the coverage scheme from Denver was to force the Browns away from Braylon. It seemed as though they were bracketing him with over/under coverage all night long. I don't think there was a single route I saw him run that didn't have a safety over the top of it.Warthog wrote:I played Edwards.hammb wrote:Yeah, I didn't realize Brady Quinn was going to be smart enough to throw to open guys rather than forcing it to Edwards all night long.
