The Lakers will probably be fired up this weekend after we beat them in 3 games in the postseason last year. Hopefully we can finally pull off a sweep instead of settling for another split. They haven't really beaten anyone good so far so I def. think we can take 2 games if Spratt steps up and we play well both games.

Ummm... I'm pretty sure that the Edmund Fitz has been sunk for a LONG time now. Nice shot though.

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP 'EM!!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Lost 0-2.

Would like some comments from someone who was at the game (calling bgbill!!). Announcer said they seemed like they were not into the game 2nd and 3rd. Lakers missed the open net a LOT tonight. Score could have been much worse!! Video replay went in our favor, even though the announcer thought it went in.

GO ICERS!!
BEAT 'EM SATURDAY!!

Perkin scored on the first shot, Sexton and Cepis both missed. Spratt let in the first two shots he faced and we lost.

The team was incredible in the second period, if only they could play like that for a whole game. At least Cepis finally broke his slump.

So does this mean we get 1 point for a shootout loss?

YES, LSSU gets 2 pts for the win, we get 1 pt for the tie.

PS, I wasn't there, but I'll bet the shots that beat Spratt were low on his glove side.
