Why did we beat Ohio?

Post by bgsufalcon24 »

Simple. According to bobcatattack.com, it was Parent Weekend in Athens this week.

Ohio lost 28-3. Weren't even competitive.

I'm telling you guys, it's contagious.

Because it's a slow night at work, I now know that BG is 13-9 in their first game after a presidential election. For those that want to look into Rep/Dem records, the wins were in 1920, 28, 36, 40, 48, 52, 56, 64, 72, 84, 92, 04 and 08.

Also, they won the opener in 1945, since the 1944 season ended in October, won the day after JFK was shot and Johnson took office, and lost the 1974 opener after Ford took over for Nixon.

So there you have it. Nothing to do with Obama and everything to do with OU being a bad football team. :-D

Sorry, AAANT, wrong. Unless you missed the road loss to NIU and the home win over Kent.
