TheFalconWeb.com?

Post by BGSU Falconz »

I just got an email on my bgnet account saying that I have been invited to join the website http://www.thefalconweb.com

I checked the site out. They have a message board and a few things like we do. Does anyone know who is running that site?

They don't have many posts on their board, but have quite a few users.

If somehow we could usurp them, and steal their members...

Looks like a "student " site. I like students well enough, but I just don't get kids today...what with their "hooking up" and "tats" and "studying"..we didn't have time for those things in my day. We were too busy trying to destroy every Wham! record ever made...

I took a look at it too. Not much there unless you are 20 years old. I think I was 20 once but I don't remember. I'm sticking with AZZ.

Eh...

I signed up for the site way back when it first became popular. At first, people posted all the time. But then, I started getting IMs from weird guys who would talk to me for five second and then want me to come to their dorm room or apartment...a little creepy. There's this one kid that still IMs me, but he's not as creepy. He just thinks he's my best friend. I just ignore him. (I'm not mean I swear! :) )

So, when that started to happen, I stopped posting pretty much. The message boards are usually used by 5 people tops. And nobody really likes to talk about their school sports teams that much.

So...if you want to join just for the sake of joining another website, then do it. Otherwise...AZZ is the place to be! :)

I'm a member there but have not been there since I signed up. I only signed up to see what everything was and the site blows. It's based completely to college students.

I actually made a post about this in the free-for-all the same day I signed up for it. What a mistake!!

Oh man...my mom was/is so obsessed with Wham! and George Michael (sp?). She still thinks she will be the one woman to turn George straight. I keep telling her, if the 5 or so women he went out with before couldn't do it, what makes you think you can?

To make this back on topic...GO BG!!

Kajagoogoo and Spandau Ballet, Freak...

bgkarabear...your mother isapproaching this from the wrong angle. She should find the guys that turned George Michael gay, and then incorporate (polite word for steal) one or two of their key concepts into her own "product".

Bill Gates became the richest man in the America that way....

If you wanted to hear good 80's music then you should have been at Howard's for the Wet Shavers
