Number 1?

Post by rood »

When was the last time we had a goalie wear number one? I can't remember any off the top of my head.

It looks like back in 2004-2005 a kid named Keith Van Gels wore the number as a goalie. According to the website he never played any games though, http://www.uscho.com/stats/player.php?p ... 6&gender=m . The last kid who wore the number and played a significant amount is Tyler Masters, http://www.uscho.com/stats/player.php?pid=237&gender=m .

Wally Charko wore the #1 and still holds the record for most wins in a season at 32 1978 -1979
he also ended that season with a 4.42 GAA according to hockey DB
