I like it Grant!! Got me ready for my first home game of the season (stupid thanksgiving family trips). I like how Coach D put it, so statesmen-like "the reports are greatly exagerated" like he was reporting from a far off distant land.
I'll be the first to say I was doubtful we would be even decent this season, but the more I heard Coach on The Ticket talking about his team coming together the more he got me to buy in. Then, when we road tripped to DePaul, a great excuse to go to a great city, I was hoping to stay within 15 at the half and the Falcons were actually leading!! I told the Blade's John Wagner at halftime that going in I did'nt expect to win this one, but now, hey why not!!??
I still get annoyed with our offense at times, but they seem to be getting the job done.
Can't wait to find a seat in the ANderson Arena bleachers tonight. There is just something about the smell, the feel and the auro of Anderson Arena and BG basketball that gets me going. Even if there is only 1,100 people and a division III opponnent.

We may know that... I just don't think the rest of the MAC knows that...BGSUfanatUT wrote:Excelent work G-dogg! I will disagree on one part though. We do have the MAC POTY; his name is John Reimold.

Grant,
Great piece of writing!! This team seems to be on the same page together. Coach D didn't win as many games as he has by not knowing anything.
THink about this...
"Well, it's here. Basketball season!! MY time of year. My wife knows that from December through March, hoops gets first dibs in my scheduling. There's no place I'd rather be in the winter time than Anderson Arena! It's a disease!!"
If you substitute "Basketball" with football, "December through March", with September through December and "AA" with "The Doyt"....we are the same!
I can't wait to see the team live....won't be able to make it to as many games this season as in the past but a few will be in the cards.
GO HOOPS!
