Ball State v. Central Michigan

Post by BillyLP »

Those of you not watching this are missing one heck of a game. It's 24-24 right now with 11 minutes left and it has been back and forth all game pretty much. Good crowd there to watch in freezing cold weather too. This is a game that could really bring a lot of good attention to the MAC

I know this doesn't effect our chances on making it to the MACC, but if we did make it there, the winner of this is likely who we would be playing. Personally I would like to see BSU go undefeated until the championship, but either way these are two great teams.

God those announcers annoyed the crap out of me.

I thought the Central Michigan fan that called the game was going to start clapping when they overturned the interception. Then he put the cherry on top by throwing out "irregardless" during the final drive.

That was a great game. Central Michigan has had a dynasty in the MAC the last almost 3 years now, and they haven't lost a meaningful MAC game since god knows when. Honestly, I didn't think Ball State had it in them to win this game tonight, in Mount Pleasant, but they pulled it out. CMU has nothing to be ashamed of, they were the best team in the MAC for quite some time, they didn't lose it, they just had another team rise up and take it from them.

So now Ball State is one win away from the MAC Championship. If they lose to WMU next week though, good luck weeding through that 3-way tie and figuring out who goes to Detroit!!

All I could think about when that idiot whipped that one out was the look on Grant's face.

Irregardless of the announcing, I would have to agree it was a great game.

It was good to see two teams dialed in, and that didn't let-up from start to finish.

There were a lot of people in Vegas getting their money back today. 7 point spread AND some books had to over/under at 55...Yikes!

That's why all lines should end in .5 enough of this push nonsense, its just like a tie...i figured if the games ended in a tie when you add in the line, they played another quarter or something
