$34 is steep, though I'd probably easily pay that if it were at DLP. I'm not even sure how many tickets I'll need, or I'd go the Stub Hub route.
Then again, paying that price will be more worth it with a win tonight.

My thoughs exactly. I bought Green Bay Packer tickets for $250 and they still have the nerve to charge $15 to ship them??bgmaggot00 wrote: it's tough for me to justify spending $15 to ship two tiny pieces of cardboard. wtf. I want to just get some cheap tickets. Aargh.

Prices
$34 is the price for reserved seats. GA are cheaper, either $29 or $24. We've been using this price point for home games against BCS schools, BG, and NIU for a few seasons now. Seeing that our attendance (paid tickets) is up near the top of the MAC for the year, can't fault UT for those prices. If people are willing to buy them, why sell them cheaper?
Now if it would have been the Miami game tonight it would have been a different story. There are great deals and many donors and season ticket holders are being given 4 extra tickets for tonight's game that they can give to friends and family to use.
But BG is the rivalry game. No way we are going to discount tickets for that. And even at $34 it is a much better value than you would get at schools in BCS conferences.

Re: Prices
Valid points RF that I agree with and I don't really think anyone is questioning UT or faulting them for doing so.... I think most of us are just trying to justify purchasing the tickets/making the trip to the Glass Bowl for that price.rocketfootball wrote:$34 is the price for reserved seats. WTF? I was fully prepared to pay $8 for a ticket at BG last year if I didn't get free ones (which I did). What kind of fans are you? Probably the kind that would throw your own band under the bus! And with any luck we'll have a night like tonight-football weather for real men. And for me and Flipper, too.
So cough up the 34, folks and come and see the umpteenth renewal of college football's best rivalry. Besides, it will be your last shot to make fat jokes about Amstutz!
